AJKids   Great search resource for students and teachers alike.

Bigchalk.com     Provides a broad spectrum of educational Internet services to teachers, students, parents, librarians and school administrators in the K-12 educational and public library markets.  One of the best educational sites on the Internet.

Blue Web'n     A searchable database of over 1000 outstanding Internet learning sites categorized by subject area, audience, and type (lessons, activities, projects, resources, references, & tools).  Blue Web'n does not attempt to catalog all educational sites, but only the most useful sites -- especially online activities targeted at learners.

Busy Teachers     Excellent array of topics covered for time-pressed educators.

CLN     The Community Learning Network from the British Columbia Department of Education has more than 265 pathfinders indexed.  Also, their subject areas page is outstanding.

Concept to Classroom     Find FREE workshops that cover all kinds of hot topics in education today.  From the Disney Learning Partnership.

Current Awareness     A monthly bibliography of the most recent educational literature from an extensive collection of journals. 

EDSITEment     An educational outreach for the National Endowment for the Humanities, EDSITEment offers many resources for all subjects except math and science.  An excellent resource.

Education Index     A long-time favorite education website just got better by allowing searches by life stage development.

Education World     Updated daily, this site offers current research, news and more.

Enchanted Learning     Enchanted Learning, a producer of children's educational web sites and games has designed a great website for children with helpful links to subjects as diverse as state flags to nursery rhymes.

Free Worksheets     A great source for worksheets for the classroom.

GEM     Gateway to Educational Materials is an educational search engine.

ISLMC     The Internet School Library Media Center.  A top site.

InfoMine K-12     Internet resource collections from the University of California.  Excellent subject directory.

Lit Ed Resources     Links to available online resources regarding literacy education from early childhood to high school level.  Provided by ERIC Clearinghouse on Reading, English, and Communication.

Marcopolo     Provides no-cost, standards-based Internet content.

McREL     Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning maintains this site which offers a vast array of resources to educators seeking updated information.  This section provides online documents, information for purchasing products and services, and links to other pertinent educator resources. Visitors can explore the area via specific content topics, current education topics, support services, or specific product names.  The button links to the resources page.  A comprehensive resource.

MI Kids     Many good educational links available here.

NYT Daily Lesson     This lesson plan archive from The New York Times on the Web Learning Connection contains hundreds of free lesson plans for grades 6-12, searchable by subject or keyword.

Scholastic     Thousands of quality links for teachers, students, and parents.

Schrock Guide     Kathy Schrock's site is one of the most comprehensive for educational topics.

Sites for Teachers     One of the best sites for lesson plans and resources; comprehensive.

Teachers.net     Another excellent, comprehensive teacher resource.  The Lesson Bank is a great resource.

Teachersource    Ties the educator into the many PBS resources available.
