The Elementary School curriculum closely follows the course of study prescribed by the Diocese of Cleveland and is closely aligned with the model courses of study developed by the Ohio Department of Education.

Curriculum alignment and student success in reaching these objectives is accomplished by testing our students using the Iowa Test of Basic Skills and the Cognitive Abilities Tests.

The school is fully accredited by the North Central Association (NCA). The Elms continues to maintain standards which enable it to achieve “outcomes accreditation” which is the most rigorous level recognized by NCA. The Elementary School is also accredited by the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association and the Ohio Department of Education.

In addition, service is stressed by offering social outreach programs throughout the year such as Thanksgiving food collection, the Giving Tree, Coins for Compassion, and book collections for needy students.
